Andrea Bringmann

Project Manager

Andrea manages development efforts, focusing on building donor relationships and securing sustainable funding for 84000.

When she moved to Nepal in 2008 to deepen her meditation practice, Andrea found a new purpose: making a meaningful difference. Founding an organization for stray dogs called "Street Dog Care" marked the beginning of Andrea's journey, and her connection with animals has transformed her perspective on life. Meeting Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche in 2009 profoundly influenced her path, inspiring Andrea's dedication to preserving and sharing wisdom.

With over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, communications, and technology innovation, Andrea has developed a diverse professional background, including roles at the Austrian Consulate and Rangjung Yeshe Institute. She began volunteering at 84000 in 2013, officially joining as Project Manager in 2022. In 2025, she stepped into the role of Project Manager with the Development team. Andrea focuses on managing and growing 84000’s fundraising programs, donor engagement initiatives, and development campaigns. She oversees key giving streams, including the Give Each Month (GEM) Mandala, Legacy Circle, and One-Time Donations, while fostering collaboration across teams to enhance the donor experience and achieve strategic fundraising goals.

Outside work, Andrea finds joy in swimming, spending time with animals, connecting with nature, and enjoying good dinners and wine with friends. "These moments bring warmth, recharge my spirit, and add happiness to my busy life," she says.
