《焰口鬼女通息供養儀軌》 （大正藏：《佛說救面然餓鬼陀羅尼神咒經》）

這部簡短的經文記敘阿難在迦毗羅衛國尼拘律園時，夜間遇一面目可怖、口中燃火之鬼女。鬼女告阿難：若不能於次日清晨向無量餓鬼施食令其滿足，汝命將盡，其後生於餓鬼。阿難大為驚懼，速至問佛。佛陀遂授予阿難一陀羅尼及施食法，可令無量餓鬼遍皆飽足，並使供養三寶之物倍增。爾後，佛令阿難奉持此法，廣宣流布。
