Dr. Adam C. Krug, Associate Translator at 84000, will be speaking at the Padmasambhava, Uḍḍiyāna, & Tibet webinar series hosted by the University of Oxford's Tibetan and Himalayan Studies Centre. In his talk, "The Oḍiyāna Mahāmudrā Lineage: Textual Communities and the Construction/Reconstruction of Institutional Identities," Adam will explore the transmission of the Grub pa sde bdun (The Seven Siddhi Texts), their role in Tibetan Mahāmudrā traditions, and how Buddhist textual traditions actively participate in the creation and continuation of communities and institutions.

Adam C. Krug

Dr. Adam C. Krug is a translator and editor with 84000 whose work spans genres from avadāna literature to Mahāyāna sūtras, dhāraṇīs, and tantras. Dr. Krug holds a doctorate from UC Santa Barbara, has taught at the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Memphis, and is the author of The Seven Siddhi Texts (Wisdom Publications, 2025).
