Dr. Ana Cristina Lopes is an anthropologist and a Buddhist studies specialist whose current research investigates the integration of sΕ«tras into Tibetan Buddhist traditions. She is the author of Tibetan Buddhism in Diaspora (Routledge, 2015), a pioneering study of the contemporary global spread of Tibetan Buddhism.
