The Kangyur alone contains over 1,000 texts, and though 84000 publications are recognized as authoritative and accessible translations, oftentimes, we lack the discipline to sit down, to read, and to study these on our own. So, this summer, we added an exciting new online resource for our friends and supporters: Teachings on Sūtra. We hope you find this compilation of contemporary teachings on the sūtras beneficial to your study and practice. This page is our offering to you.

Not Nine; but Rising Ten

Almost ten years ago, in the remote foothills of the Indian Himalaya, a landmark conference was held to map out a plan for the preservation of the 231,800 pages of the Tibetan Buddhist Canon. As we approach our 10th anniversary, and with Thanksgiving having just passed, we are reflecting on our translation progress, and we are so grateful for what we have and for the journey and support that has brought us thus far.
