
Dr. Paul Thomas, originally from California, received his BA and MA from the Rangjung Yeshe Institute in Kathmandu, Nepal, and his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley. He has studied and practiced Tibetan Buddhism in the United States and Nepal for the past twenty years. Dr. Thomas's research focuses on the intersection of Tantric Śaivism and Tantric Buddhism from the tenth to the thirteenth centuries, particularly non-dual Śaivism and the Buddhist Kālacakra and Dzogchen traditions. He is currently working on Kālacakra texts for 84000.
