Dr. Dawn H. Collins holds a PhD from Cardiff University on Tibetan landscapes and ritual healing, and lectures in religion and anthropology with a focus on Asian religions, tantra, and sacred geography. Her research interests include ritual healing, sacred wellsprings, theurgy, and tantra, and her ethnographic work draws on her background as a dancer and massage therapist.

Dr. Dawn H. Collins holds an MA in Buddhist Studies from SOAS, University of London, and a PhD from Cardiff University focusing on Tibetan landscapes and ritual healing. She has worked as a contemporary dancer, a massage therapist, and in administrative, financial, and recruitment support for a tech start-up, and more recently as an academic researcher, writer, and tutor. Her current research interests include ritual healing, sacred wellsprings, theurgy, and tantra. Dr. Collins lectures in religion and anthropology, focusing on Asian religions, tantra, sacred geography, ecology and spirituality, divination, dance, and death studies. Her ethnographic research is inspired by her practice as a dance artist and massage therapist.

Dr. Collins values how the members of the 84000 team come together each day in the shared effort to translate and communicate the words of the Buddha Śākyamuni.
