Maṅgalāṣṭaka

一時，佛在毗舍離奈女樹園，有一離車族青年名為「善作」，請佛宣說現今住世修行本願之諸佛
名號，使持名禮敬者無有恐懼、無復眾難。世尊隨即演說八佛及其佛土之名，教喻善作應諦奉善
思、係心毋忘，必能德行日進、所作皆成。善作告退之後，天帝釋白佛言，我已受此八佛之名，
精进奉行。佛告天帝，天人與阿修羅戰鬥之前，念諸八佛名即可無畏，繼而講說傳布本經的種種
功德。
