On March 19, 2013, James Hopkins, 84000 Team Member, gave an informational presentation to a receptive audience of monks and laypersons attending the commemoration of the passing of Tenga Rinpoche at Benchen Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal. One of the highlights of the event was when an offering of 84,000 rupees was given to the project in honor of Tenga Rinpoche, the late abbot of Benchen Monastery, who was one of the first supporters of 84000.
